Art for community

Introduction to Project
In order to overcome the traumatic psychological impact of 2015 earthquake on the people's heart and mind we are consistently putting our effort as per our calibre, resources and support.Being  an artists we are bringing art and music projects in village to exercise their
creative aspects and slowly get them out of the traumatic memories that is irreparable and irreversible. And for this we have decided to work with school children with a belief that children are the future and how we shape the minds of children will eventually shape the face of village. We will be teaching some basics of paintings and some easy melody over simple instruments.Firstly, we will try to draw the attention of little minds by showing something easy ,catchy and interesting art works or music then slowly escalte as per need. Those who show
special interest or have special talent will be further nurtured and encouraged to develop their artistic abilities.

The area was badly hit by the earthquake where almost all the households and villages were destroyed among which there a village (Baspot, Thumgaun and Milim) needs to be relocated. There are total of 4 schools in the area among which 2 needs to be relocated. The schools are run by the local community. All the physical structures of the schools were totally damaged in the earthquake and are in no condition to be reused.
